IMPORTANT: 

All payments should be made through the Consular Counter only by cash (currency: BRS) The Embassy does not accept payments made by cheques/credit/debit cards. 

If you need to make a bank transfer in case of difficulty in paying through the counter, please pay to the Embassy official bank accounts. Procedure to submit the application 

Travel Document (Passport) 

To be eligible to apply for a travel document, the applicant must be a Sri Lankan citizen by descent or by registration.

PROCEDURE TO SUBMIT APPLICATION 

Applicant should submit the applications and documents in person visiting the Embassy and place signature before an authorized officer in the Embassy when applicable. 

However, if you are unable to visit Embassy, please contact Embassy officials for advice/instructions on case by case basis for submission of documents through currier/post or by an authorized third party.

Visiting the Embassy: 

You may submit the application to the Consular Division of the Embassy by hand. Consular Division is open from Monday to Friday except holidays
